Legion Lake Campground

Mirroring the ponderosa pines and sheer rock walls, Legion Lake offers wonderful photo opportunities. It is a water stop for the park's wildlife.
The campground is located in a mountain valley and accommodates both large RV's and tents. The Badger Clark Memorial is within walking distance from the campground via Centennial Trail. Also nearby, enjoy fishing, relax at the beach or stroll around the lake or mountain bike the Centennial Trail which passes near the campground.

Legion Lake Lodge
Legion Lake Lodge dates back to 1913 when Custer State Park was a game preserve in the Custer State Forest. At that time the area was leased by the local American Legion post, and thus the basis for the resort's name.
