Interested in volunteering? As a volunteer at The Outdoor Campus, you will experience a variety of opportunities that will increase your own and others' awareness of South Dakota's great outdoors.
Adult Volunteer Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Submit a completed volunteer application to the volunteer coordinator
- Set up an interview with volunteer coordinator
- Agree to and pass a criminal background check
- Complete a volunteer orientation and training
Youth Volunteer Qualifications:
- Must be 12-17 years of age
- Submit a completed volunteer application to the volunteer coordinator
- Set up an interview with volunteer coordinator
- Complete a volunteer orientation and training
Volunteer Positions Offered:
- Program Assistant
- Information Desk Greeter (Must be 18)
- Office Assistant
- Landscaper
- Facility Maintenance
- Bird Feeder
- Roving Interpreter (Must be 18)
- Wood-Worker (Must be 18)
- Special Events
Community Service:
- Opportunities are available for scout groups, high school groups, church groups or others interested in a one-time involvement with The Outdoor Campus-West.
