This Bighorn Sheep ram was illegally killed in Custer State Park, near Game Lodge campground and Creek Side resort on the afternoon of Friday, November 27, 2009. Only the animal's head and cape were taken, the carcass left to rot. This mature ram was one of only 9 that live in the Park.

The South Dakota Turn In Poacher's Hotline is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for killing this animal and stealing a public resource from our state.
